Service Description
Soy sauce originated more than 2,500 years ago in China as Jan, which was used to preserve ingredients. It also added flavor, so it became a culinary staple. Learn how to use koji to make soy sauce and tamari. It's not as hard as you think! Your Food Experience includes a farm tour to see how the Tiki Farm and Food Lab integrate with the ever changing Suis Generis menu. After you learn how to make soy sauce, settle in for an 8 course chef curated tasting menu featuring some of our house made soy sauce & miso! Tiki beverages available for additional charge. Please let us know of any allergies or vegetarian/pescatarian requests 7 days before the event. Deposits are non-refundable unless provider cancels or re-schedules the event.

Cancellation Policy
In order to prepare the proper amount of food, we close bookings three days before the event. For inquiries about late bookings call or text 504-338-2986 - we often can add several people to the event if we have enough food. Allegris & Substitutions: Please let us know if you have any food allergies or if you would like vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian substitutions no later than 7 days before the event. Please text such requests to 504-338-2986. Cancellations: Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to weather or other uncontrollable issues. Deposits are non-refundable, but if you need to cancel prior to 7 days before the event, we will give you a credit in the amount paid toward another event. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable and will not receive a credit because we order food 7 days out! Thanks for your understanding!
